New Mexico vertebrate paleontological field photographs, 1951.

Photographs documenting the last stage of the field work undertaken by George Whitaker, assisted by Walter Sorenson and students David B. Kitts and John Ostrom, in the Coryphodon quarry, no. 242, located near Cuba, N.M. The quarry was found in 1949 and opened in 1950. The field work was completed by the end of the season. Photographs were taken by Whitaker. Photographs are identified.
